'He's got some left foot' - Harrogate Town manager excited by capture of former Bolton Wanderers winger
Ex-Bolton Wanderers winger Tom Walker was unveiled by the Wetherby Road outfit on Thursday, following midfielder Connor Kirby and centre-half Jake Lawlor into the club as they prepare for their first-ever season in the Football League.
The 24-year-old joins Town from AFC Fylde for an undisclosed fee and will add a touch of class in the final third, according to his new manager.

"He's got some left foot. He can play on the left or the right or in behind a striker, but the way he strikes a football with his left is special.
"Given the style that we like to play and the system we operate, I'm confident that he will fit in really well here.
"I wanted another winger in to add more goals. If we can get Jack Diamond back [on loan from Sunderland] as well, then that’s great, but we have to have competition for places."

Hide AdWalker began his professional career at Bolton Wanderers, making his debut for the Trotters in 2015 before going onto feature in 18 Championship fixtures.
He was then loaned out to League One Bury during the 2016/17 season before signing for FC United of Manchester, where his early performances earned him a move to then National League North outfit Salford City.
Walker would go on to make over 50 appearances for the Ammies and help the club secure back-to-back promotions up to the Football League.
The 2019/20 campaign saw the England 'C' international loaned to Stockport County, where he contributed six goals in just 15 National League appearances, tempting AFC Fylde to snap up his services on a two-and a-half year deal in January 2020.

Hide AdWalker proved to be an instant hit with the Coasters' supporters, netting a memorable debut goal, but with the season being cut-short due to Covid-19 he was unable to steer his new side clear of relegation.
Fylde's demotion back to the sixth tier prompted Town to activate a clause in his contract that has allowed them to bring the player to Wetherby Road ahead of their maiden voyage in League Two.
