Old boy Tattersall returns to haunt Harrogate CC and help rivals York to crushing success
Jonny Tattersall departed St George's Road to join the Roosters' local rivals for the 2018 season and shone against his old team-mates, hitting 82 and then taking five wickets to help the visitors to a comprehensive 162-run triumph.
The ex-Harrogate man shared a mammoth opening stand of 211 with Duncan Snell (112) to move York firmly into the ascendancy.

Hide AdAfter a period of real toil, 'Gate eventually enjoyed some success and manage to put the brakes on the away team's progress as Tom Geeson-Brown snapped up 4-73, but George Ross' men were still left needing 294 for victory.
They never looked like getting close to their target, however, and although several players made starts, none of the home batsmen made more than Corrie Keable (27).
Tattersall finished the afternoon having well and truly done a number on his former side, helping himself to 5-50 with the ball to send Harrogate on their way well short with just 131 to their name.
The result leaves 'Gate in seventh position (out of 12) in the league standings after a tough start to the campaign that has seen them defeated in three of their opening four fixtures.
Next up is a trip to tackle Woodhouse Grange on Saturday.
